“Care for the Elderly”: More Than 2,700 Elderly Residents of Talas District Received Free Medical Aid with the Support of “Alliance Altyn”

With the support of “Alliance Altyn,” 2,716 people in the Talas District underwent free medical examinations

The free medical campaign “Karylarga Kamkorduk” (“Care for the Elderly”), aimed at residents over the age of 60, has concluded in the Talas District. The event was funded by Alliance Altyn with the participation of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Plenipotentiary Representation of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Talas Region.

Medical examinations took place from May 30 to June 3, 2026. During this period, a team of 16 doctors from Bishkek provided free consultations and examinations to residents of the district. The team of specialists included cardiologists, an ophthalmologist, a urologist, an otolaryngologist (ENT), a general practitioner, an orthopedist, and a mammologist.

Patient appointments were held at the Family Doctors Group No. 6 building in the village of Manas, Talas District. Over the course of five days, medical care was provided to residents of five rural administrative units in the district. According to official data, 7,795 people over the age of 60 live in the Talas District. Of these, 2,716 people underwent a free medical examination as part of the campaign.

It is worth noting that this initiative was first implemented in March 2026 by the public charitable foundation “Uzur,” which, with the company’s support, held a two-day medical campaign in the city of Talas. Given the high demand for such services, the company “Alliance Altyn” supported the project’s further development and, together with its partners, helped expand its scope.

According to Aigul Zakirova, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Talas Region, such events are of great importance for maintaining the health of the population.

“The event, organized with the aim of caring for the health of the population, was successfully held in the Talas District. We plan to continue this beneficial initiative and, together with the company “Alliance Altyn,” hold similar events in other districts of the region. I express my sincere gratitude to the company for supporting such social projects,” noted Aigul Zakirova.

Chokoybek Sulaymanov, a resident of the village of Aral who attended the event, also expressed his gratitude to the organizers.

“Three years ago, I had a stent placed in my heart. Today I came for a consultation with the cardiologist who is treating me. In this day and age, when practically everything involves financial costs, the opportunity to undergo a free medical examination is a great help. Many elderly people here sincerely thank the organizers and offer their blessings. We are very grateful to the company ‘Alliance Altyn’ for creating such conditions,” he said.

Orthopedist Talantbek Tazhibayev, who participated in the event, noted that musculoskeletal disorders were frequently found among the patients examined.

“Many residents complained of pain in the lower back, joints, and legs. Some elderly people had serious mobility limitations. Each patient was given recommendations, and when necessary, referrals for additional examinations and treatment,” the doctor reported.

The “Karylarga Kamkorduk” (“Care for the Elderly”) campaign has become one of the key social projects aimed at improving access to quality medical care for the elderly, as well as disease prevention and early detection. It has become particularly significant for residents of remote villages, who were given the opportunity to undergo a free examination by experienced specialists.

“Such initiatives contribute not only to improving public health but also to fostering social responsibility in society and increasing attention to the older generation. Alliance Altyn will continue to support social and charitable projects aimed at improving the quality of life for local residents,” the Alliance Altyn press office stated.
