A New Era of Gold Mining in Kyrgyzstan

Alliance Altyn LLC was established by Vostok-Geoldobycha Open Joint-Stock Company and registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic on June 2, 2015. This year, geological and topographic surveying work, engineering and environmental studies, as well as the development of technical regulations for ore processing, have begun at Jeru.

Construction is in full swing at the Jerui production site: roads are being built, and production and social infrastructure is being erected. The foundation for the mining and processing complex is being laid.

Open-pit ore mining at the Jerui deposit. On November 11, the Alliance Altyn company carried out its first blasting operations, marking the start of gold production at the Jerui deposit. A quarry was constructed at the deposit, and the first 5 tons of ore were stockpiled; by the end of the month, commissioning work began at the gold processing plant (GPP).

On March 17, 2021, a grand opening ceremony was held for the gold processing plant at the Jerui deposit, attended by heads of state. Commercial gold production has begun at the country’s second-largest deposit in terms of reserves, with proven reserves of 88.2 tons of gold. The expected annual production volume is between 3 and 5 tons of gold or more.

Gold production increased by 30% compared to 2021, with 4 tons of the precious metal mined. The company is actively developing its production infrastructure, implementing international standards for industrial safety and occupational health, and strengthening its position as one of Kyrgyzstan’s key taxpayers.

The company set a new record, producing 4.4 tons of gold—a 5.7% increase over the previous year. Steady growth in metal extraction at ZIF. The company continues to improve its technological processes and increase ore processing efficiency, strengthening its position in the country’s mining industry.

4.5 tons of gold were produced, and 1.33 million tons of ore were processed. Construction of the second phase of the tailings storage facility has been completed, ensuring the safe long-term operation of the mine. Preparatory work has begun for the development of underground mining operations at the Jeruy deposit, opening new horizons for the company’s further development and increased production volumes. 9.3 billion soms were transferred to the national budget.

By the end of 2025, Altyn Alliance had increased gold production at the Jeruy deposit to 4.8 tons thanks to the modernization of the processing plant, meeting its annual target ahead of schedule. Open-pit mining was supplemented by underground mining, which opened up new opportunities for production. By the end of the year, more than 15.6 billion soms had been contributed to the national budget, and the total amount of tax payments since the project’s inception had approached 40 billion soms.
