In Talas Oblast, a large-scale greening project is being implemented under the President’s “Green Heritage” national initiative. In the Chon-Koshoi valley of Talas district, work has begun to plant 88,000 saplings over 100 hectares, and the area is gradually turning into a green forest.
The “Alliance Gold” company also joined this initiative, providing sponsorship of 1,600,000 soms. The funds were directed toward fueling the equipment and covering other necessary expenses.
The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Forestry Department, and the President’s Authorized Representative in Talas Oblast. The allocated funds are being used for planting saplings, fencing the area, and establishing an irrigation system.
It should be noted that the Alliance Alтын company has been actively participating in this initiative since its inception. Previously, the company organized large-scale clean-up campaigns such as “Clean up the Talas Forest” and carried out initiatives to green the Jerüy mine and nearby rural areas.
