This record: In nine months, the Altyn Alliance paid over 10 billion soms in taxes to the Kyrgyz government.

In the first nine months of this year, Alliance Altyn transferred more than 10.5 billion soms to the state budget in the form of taxes and mandatory payments. These funds are used for pensions and social benefits, schools, healthcare, and roads – every citizen of the country can feel their impact. Since development of the Jeroy mine began in 2015, the company has transferred more than 34.8 billion soms to the treasury. Of that amount, 26.4 billion soms came from taxes on gold sales.
Last year, Alliance Altyn ranked among the country’s three largest taxpayers, taking second place in the State Tax Service’s (STS) ranking.
During this period, the company has paid its taxes on time, strictly adhered to the laws of the Kyrgyz Republic, and operates at high standards with a strong, professional team. We are very pleased with the company’s growth trajectory; its operational efficiency and contribution to the national economy are increasing year after year,” said Almambet Shykmatov, Chairman of the State Tax Service.
In addition to taxes, the company invests in the development of the region where it operates. This year alone, more than 600 million soms have been allocated for the development of Talas Oblast, the district, and the village of Shumkar-Uya, where the mine is located. These funds are being spent on road repairs, infrastructure development, and support for local initiatives.
Currently, the company employs 867 people, the majority of whom are residents of the Talas region. “Alliance Gold” deliberately gives preference to local personnel, creates stable jobs, and helps people acquire new skills.
The company pays special attention to the environment. Alliance Alтын finances environmental protection measures and monitors the air, water, and soil conditions in the mining area. In just one year, more than 70 million soms were allocated to environmental protection and nature restoration programs. As part of the “Green Heritage” project, spring tree planting and green space maintenance were carried out.
